Oh man, making friends after 30 is SO HARD. And I don’t even have kids yet. I imagine that will just make it harder. Sometimes I just want to straight up ask “can we be friends?” But that would probably just be suuuuper awkward. I think it’s even difficult to maintain bonds with the people you’ve known forever. Alas.

I just found your blog a couple days ago and let me say, I’m in love already. My friends always tease me about all the lists I make for pretty much anything and everything. I’ve been known to write things on my to do list that I’ve already done–just to cross it out…I’m weird like that. Also, never heard of pop-up parties until now, and that’s definitely added to my bucket list! Thanks for sharing!

I always love your List posts, but I especially enjoyed the NY Times article you linked about making friends after 30. Its so hard! It inspired a little blog post of own. I was thinking it would be a topic I would love to hear you and Joy talk about on the podcast if you were so inclined. I know you have talked about friendship before, but what about the challenge of making new ones? Anyways thanks for another great blog post!
