I love lists, Friday!

    I love these lists! 🙂

Those lemon cornmeal pancakes are going on my to-make list. I just wrapped up a week of lemon recipes on my blog (http://www.thedesertabode.com/2012/04/01/when-life-gives-you-lemons/) and think I am going to have to try one more recipe before citrus season is over…

I might have to surprise my husband…he loves cornmeal!

I really enjoyed this post. (Always awaiting your next one) Laughing my way through. As an avowed serial painter I have learned never to use tape. It adds like 16 extra unnecessary hours to a job. Also guilty of not painting the ceilings and completely regretting it later. Lazy. Do you mind if I put a link to this post on my blog? I would love to share as I am painting my stairway hall from top to floors and you have a very witty tutorial here.

Oh my goodness. Thank you so much for loving us through your words….challenging us, encouraging and filing us with God’s love by sacrificing your time to serve your readers. I absolutely cherish you and have been following you for years. Thank you for blessing me AND my family. YOU are precious! Waiting for my children to wake up, so I can serve and love on them.

Nice post, Lynda! I have found that sealing my bowls with the Clear acrylic sealer I get at the local building supply store really helps to stiffen the all-purpose rope bowls I make. They end up pretty rigid, so they are functional as well as decorative, and the sealer protects the surface from stains. I’m not sure if this would be an issue with your dyed cord – do you rinse the cord or wash out after the dye has set? If not, there could be bleeding issues with the sealer.

Oh, also Pregnant Chicken mentioned: “As a general rule, teas made from fruit or herbs which are used in cooking are safe for you to drink while you’re pregnant.

Great tips as the winter weather sneaks in. Too bad we have rain instead of snow down here in the South. Still having to make sure it doesn’t drop in puddles.

I have been listening to your podcasts today and feel encouraged. I have been exhausted by the endless needs of my four kids this summer. This week school started and I have been able to have some quiet, some rest, some reading time, some car time alone, etc. I have been able to MISS my kids a little and can look forward to meeting their needs again. Thank you for your encouragement.

Hi, They came out so nicely! You have a lovely family. You are so right about “volume!” We did the same thing recently, 45 minutes resulted in 500 pictures with about 15 really good ones

  • lisa

I love the traditional look–you still managed to keep it modern and fresh. I am always jealous of other peoples thrift store finds . . . we don’t have many thrift stores out here, and it’s next to impossible to find anything good in the ones we do have. Those stockings are super cute!

Happy holidays. I have some personal weekend planes!
