Here’s what this past week looked like:
Foggy hike after Thanksgiving.
The streets were golden.
Casey built Cooper a ramp.
Above.
Wet lavender.
Reminds me of broccolini.
Dog charging at me. They always do and it freaks me out.
New buddy.
I really am.
Photo adventure in San Francisco.
I love having creative friends in my life.
Golden hour.
Testing out pens at Flax .
I’m easily pleased.
Golden shadow.
Turkey going in the oven to be braised!
Found this butterfly on Thanksgiving day.
Painting feathers for my centerpiece.
Creating place cards.
Thanksgiving table at 2PM.
I added some fun things this year and added a few pops of purple.
I used the china I inherited from my late Aunt & Uncle. Made me happy.
Sometimes it makes me sad that I didn’t get to see them age and that they never new the adult version of me. They would be happy to see me carrying on the Thanksgiving tradition with their plates.
Come and get it!!! I served our dinner buffet style.
Thanksgiving dinner!
Dessert was store bought. It reduced my stress level greatly.
One of the reasons why I love hiking so much is that I get to see nature in its purest form.
I like looking at really old trees and knowing that they’ve been here before me and will mostly be here after me.
Makes me change my perspective and I appreciate that.
I also think of the Ecotone episode of Six Feet Under…and Nate Fisher…when I see trees like this.
A panda & a turtle head into the light.
Pattern clashed cat.
Enjoying the colors before they fade.
I look forward to seeing certain trees in our yard change color. This one is electric.
Someone altered an OPEN sign.
Making gift wrap.
Swirls & lines.
We’ve been guinea pig sitting for two guinea pigs. Their names are Steve & Carl.
BEST. DAY. EVER.
THIS GUY.
We’re still on a Joy kick.
The people at Lush are incredibly helpful when you have to take two 6 year olds shopping.
YES.
Leisurely breakfast.
NO THANK YOU.
Starting the car. Waiting for someone to finish putting on their shoes.
A little bit of golden sun in a rainy foggy week. For that, I am thankful.
