Here’s what this past week looked like:
Casey and I went to Alcatraz this week with family! Not a bad view from the rock.
Alcatraz is full of hidden treasures.
Hello up there!
It’s fun being a tourist in your hometown.
Decay.
Mine! Mine! MINE!
The library of Alcatraz feels like it’s full of ghosts.
It’s all kind of eerie.
I can’t imagine what it was like at night when inmates were there.
I would seriously never sleep.
Keys for days.
The bay is green…and only blue when the sky is reflected in it.
So much history to see.
The hospital of Alcatraz felt like a movie set.
Nice styling.
My nephew Henry listening to the audio tour. (We went on St. Patrick’s Day)
Mint green.
#creepy
This would have been my cell 😉
Paint chips.
Just add a little more blue and it’s Life Aquatic.
Dogs & Sausages. Pigeons will eat it all.
The Gales! Visiting from Idaho!
There were moments when I could see Henry as a baby in his 10 year old face.
Balance.
Family dinner.
Steamy morning.
Ellie was my breakfast buddy. She also has to eat first thing in the morning.
Snack dinner.
Doughnuts & flatbed trucks.
Spilled milk in parking lots.
Redwood climbing.
It’s so hard to take pictures of chickens.
FINALLY! I made eye contact with one.
Fresh eggs that are still warm.
Working hard at a drawing before school.
B A N A N A
The worst bento box I’ve ever had.
How I prevented watercolors from bleeding.
Note to self:
Feels like spring here. Sorry about your snow!
We celebrated our 9 year anniversary this week! It’s been a long time since I’ve had long hair.
