Here’s what this past week looked like:
Bacon bubbles.
Edamame hairs.
Happy Hour is (always) playful.
I found this when I needed to. Thanks, Cooper!
He made me a mother.
I got to spend time with my Mom on Mother’s Day. So blessed.
Why does he look 10 years old in this picture?!
My little leftie.
Mother’s Day dinner at A16.
Hamming it up.
Pot. *snort*
My maj sent me the most gorgeous flowers. Love my maj!
This dog did not want to make eye contact.
Guess which word my brain spotted first.
New favorite outfit.
Cooper’s crayon gems. They’re so hard to color with….my big hands.
Cheddar Chive Cornmeal Pancakes!
The petals drop one by one….
Lap cat.
Making a salad. Cleaning out the fridge!
The view from the side. We were watching The Never Ending Story.

Rainbow.
Those quesadillas were gooooood.
Mushrooms are alien-like
I traveled to St. Helena this week to Sutter Home.
I was asked to be one of their guest judges for the Build a Better Burger competition!
IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!
The most amazing Pimm’s Cup at Goose & Gander.
Flowers in my drink!
Balanced.
Woke up wondering where I was.
They made the most amazing breakfast for us guests at the Sutter Home Inn.
Coffee outside in the sun.
Waiting for the competition to start at Trinchero Winery. The decor there is pretty stunning.
COMPETITION TIME!
This was the The Heart & Seoul of Korea burger (it won!). It was my favorite!
Maybe I’ll let it inspire a Shutterbean recipe somehow.
This one was good. Could have used some mustard or a pickle.
The candied bacon in this burger gave me recipe ideas.
Chorizo burger! There was another one…but I didn’t get a photo of it.
It was a crab salad ON a burger. Interesting! But definitely not my favorite.
We finished with delicious strawberry shortcakes and lemon curd.
Meal prep turned cocktail time.
That’s a lot of instructions.
Cooper’s self portrait. I freaking LOVE IT.
My lady loves Pimm’s. She’s not amused that she can’t drink it though.
Ribs. So easy. My summer go to.
My brother always gets my mom such pretty flowers.
Meal prep this week. This is what I left in the fridge for Casey & Cooper because I’m currently in Connecticut visiting my grandma.
