Here’s what this past week looked like- My Everyday Life : Week 42
On the last day of the Whole 30, I drove myself to Muir Woods.
I needed to give my brain some space to think. Process and be quiet.
It was a cold crisp morning. The tourists were out.
I loved listening to all of the different accents and languages during my hike. I left before it got really busy.
The sun came up as I was leaving.
I drove to Stinson Beach to watch the waves and smell the ocean air.
Bird party.
I love seeing the silhouettes of people and animals on the beach.
Sometimes I daydream of living in a small beach town.
Feathers amaze me.
And they’re off!
Watching the sun sparkle on the water was my favorite.
A new friend.
At the top of Mt. Tam. You can see the city way down there.
Bodega Bay. Not all in that order.
Fleeting moments.
I look for signs all the time.
This was a good one.
Worked on this during the weekend.
The best part? I pulled from my potted plants and barely had to buy any new succulents for this project.
Crazy plant propagating lady !!!
Still eating like I’m on the Whole30.
I did have wine last night. Gave me immediate heart burn and made me SO THIRSTY.
I’m curious to see what happens with bourbon….
Afternoon light.
I’m really enjoying this book.
Now I understand why my mom couldn’t stop staring at my nose.
HIS IS SO CUTE.
I can’t believe that one day he is going to have a legit mustache. WHAT.
Friday night is game night. Cooper got to be the banker.
Cooper calls Ella “Tiny Sprug.”
And he calls Rosie “Little Sprug.” Then he gets all mad if I call the wrong one tiny and the wrong one little.
Rosie sleeps like this sometimes.
I LOVE IT.
Rainbow.
Goodnight.
I MEAN WOW. THAT COLOR was NUTS.
Again with the belly.
Reading one of our favorite books.
Casey was working late so I made a picnic in (MY BEDROOM!) for Cooper and I.
Spontaneous- picnic- in -her- bedroom Mom is always a hit.
Especially when we color and learn about goats.
Sun blasted.
A trip to Benihana with my parents!
Sometimes I dream of living in a victorian house….
I also have a legit crush on this car.
Crunch of the leaves while Casey and I go for a walk.
I love people who put effort in signs.
I made this.
I ate this.
Listening to this, typing notes… realizing that I keep getting signs of crocodiles in my life.
Morning commute after a night of rain.
When I was a kid, my mother bought us some rainbow drip candles.
WE LOVED THEM. I mean, how could you not?
One of the grocery stores I shop at (the one I shopped at when I was young with my mom!) has these candles and I finally bought us some. No surprise, Cooper loooooooves them. They add so much magic to our dinner table.
Makes me happy to experience parts of my childhood with him.
