You know another use for a toothbrush? Cleaning between floor tiles. I did it two summers ago because it drove me crazy that it always looked dirty. Did it work? Hell yes. Would I do it again? Not in a million years. I thought I was never going to end and, to top it off, the next day I woke up with a bump on my arm because I applied too much pressure, apparently. Tendonitis because of cleaning… how ridiculous is that? Lol.
And now I’m in tears after reading the first story. I cannot imagine losing both of your parents in such a short spam of time, seeing them go through chemo… But I’m in awe of their attitude, laughing and enjoying life till the end. My boyfriend was diagnosed with cancer last year and I’d never been so scared in my life. He’s okay now, and I feel thankful every damn day. I’ve learnt that life is too precious not to make the most out of it, so let’s love fearlessly and try to be kind to one another, shall we?Happy weekend!

Ok, real talk – those Birks are so cute but do you feel like they make your calves look big? That’s my fear of them. I think I am still recovering from someone telling me that back in the 80’s when I wore gladiator sandals.

We went to Ireland last summer, and the Trinity College Library in Dublin was the most beautiful thing we saw – 300 years old and absolutely amazing! Please go see it if you have the chance!

I didn’t know how much I needed that David Sedaris piece until I read it. Just thinking YES YES YES through the whole thing. And he makes me feel better/more sad in a good way about the world – does that even make sense?! I love these lists!
I had a coat as a kid in the 80’s, and on the care label it listed the typical wash and dry routine, then it said “For not so good results, drag behind car through mud puddles and blow dry on roof rack.” I’m not kidding. = )
