I just wanted to let you know how much I love I Love Lists. You find some cool stuff that I might not otherwise have seen and also save me the time of weeding through some really worthless stuff. Please don’t stop. Have a nice weekend.

Re: the iPad article – I work with kids and teenagers and I see daily how addicted many of them are to their phones. You take them away from them for an hour and they start to get anxious about missed notifications and Whatsapp messages, it’s really worrisome.
I’ve started seeing parents who put a phone holder in their kids’ strollers to keep them entertained, sometimes babies who aren’t even one. I’m not a parent and I really don’t mean to judge, but isn’t it crazy? Last night I was at a restaurant and the little girl (maybe about 3) sitting at the table next to us complained she was bored. I had a notebook and crayons on my bag and I asked her if she wanted to draw. Her dad told me there was no need, that she could watch Peppa Pig on his phone. I was so taken aback by his reply.

Ughh. That hurts. It has become the biggest pacifier, and it makes me sad that so many parents don’t give sensible limits on technology.

  • Kid free in Sausalito – Hungry Hungry Hippie

[…] Tracy recommended this place to me initially, but then every person I talked to after backed up the rec. […]

I just joined Thrive Market! It would be awesome if you put together a list of your favorites from there! 🙂
