Here’s what this past week looked like on My Everyday Life: Week 26
Last weekend we went camping!
This is the second time we went camping in Manchester.
Coloring club in my tent!
A trip into town for the “world’s best sandwiches.”
They were not.
Day one: make a floral bouquet for our camp site. My niece Abby, in her red velvet “camping” dress.
She made me a daisy crown.
I always think of my friend Riley when I see blowfish.
My cup for the weekend:
You can see all of the things we ate here:
My niece decorated our water container. Cooper contributed. They were inspired by the walls on the inside of the bathrooms…..
Lighthouse visit in Pt. Arena
What a pretty place!
JUMP! Or refuse not to. It’s your prerogative.
Cousin time!
Wild strawberries.
We found a bunch of abalone shells on the beach.
They’re pretty amazing.
My brain feels better when I have a day at the beach.
Cutest.
We went earlier this year than we did last year.
It meant there were more wildflowers on the hill and that made me happy.
Nature is colorful.
This whole beach pleased me. I wish I could take all the rocks and put them in my garden.
I <3 this one.
FAMILY!
My father-in-law vs. the ball in the tree. It was quite entertaining. Went on for quite awhile.
Coloring club.
Casey whittled.
Late nights around campfires. Eating all the snacks and drinking all the bourbon.
Sleeping soundly outdoors.
Definitely not thinking about all the bugs that were probably in my tent at the time.
I love seeing people’s stamp choices on the mail they send me.
Frying up bacon for breakfast sandwiches.
We have extra treats in the house because grandpa is in town.
The day before Cooper collected baseballs in our yard that had poison oak on them.
These two are enjoying the Summer together.
A simple treat headed your way soon.
What it’s like to live with a young boy.
Throwing together a dinner when you don’t feel like cooking.
Meditating on the stairs.
KISS KISS.
A hungry caterpillar.
Dining room vibe.
Take out nights are necessary and oh so appreciated by this cook who is ALWAYS COOKING and doesn’t want to clean up the kitchen AGAIN.
Working the snack shack during the baseball all-stars game.
My favorite thing to do is stock shelves.
You could have guessed that already though.
Mr. Sunflower Seed Man
My flowers are loving it here.
Comfort food.
ULTIMATE COMFORT.
I really wanted flowers in my yard so I could just take pictures of bees all day long. Let’s be real!
Winner winner chicken burrito bowl dinner!
Every now and then they’re together and then I can get an album cover shot. HA
