    This is one of my fave lists ever. I was just thinking this morning how grateful I am that selfies weren’t a thing when I traveled through India 20+ years ago. I remember standing over a rice-paddy-laden, ultra-green hilltop as fog rolled in thinking “I’m nineteen. I’m alone in the world. And, I’m fine.” Will my daughter ever have moments like that? Don’t love how old I sound but really am so thankful I had those experiences without a mobile phone in hand.

    Also, I’m so sorry about your mom. You’ve shared about her quite a bit and I love hearing how much you loved her. My heart goes out to you this holiday season.
