Here’s what this past week looked like – My Everyday Life Week 15
A week ago I was teaching a handwriting workshop for our school auction!
Nothing makes me happier than putting together an assembly line.

All my stuff! I totally brought a disco ball.
We wrote some of our family’s favorite recipes together.
This is my sample recipe for the students to be inspired by.
Mom’s lemon chicken is a winner.
My friend Sonia hosted the party and put together this beautiful spread with her family’s empanada recipe.
I loved my little helper, Luisa!

I loved listening to conversations about old recipes and family traditions.
I loved seeing how each kid added their own flair.
I LOVE CHILDREN!!!!!!!
Event in the city with California Strawberries!
We had strawberry EVERYTHING. Including cocktails.
I am going to start putting strawberries in my water. It’s delicious.
We styled cheeseboards.
We soaked in the sun!
We feasted on strawberries. It was fun! Looking into windows in the city.

I got to meet one of my art heroes this week- Sabrina Ward Harrison!
We had dinner in Berkeley.
She lived here 20 years ago, so it was fun to see her reminisce. She left a note for the owners of the restaurant she used to frequent.

Such a pleasure when internet friends become real-life friends.
A morning started this week with spilled coffee.
Fried calamari after the school concert.
We tried to draw things while closing our eyes and other people had to guess what we were drawing. Oh, the games we play while waiting for our food at restaurants!
Cooper’s been into drawing the past few weeks and I AM LIVING FOR IT.

I did kitchen spring cleaning this week. Boy, did my kitchen need it!

Instant pot black beans are my new favorite thing.
I bought myself flowers.
