Here’s what this past year looked like – My Everyday Life Week 6
It rained all week! One day it cleared up and I found some color.
When I spent the night at my parent’s house, I found my Mom’s gratitude journal.
This was 1998. I am so grateful my mother was a thoughtful person. I am still getting lessons from her from beyond.
Deep breath before going to the doctor.
Me vs. The Weekend.
I really enjoyed having my turkey chili in our meal prep this week.
Thinking about Santa Fe. Are you coming to my photo retreat?
I like paying attention to the words that pop out at me.
Arugula salad with potatoes and avocado + my food journal.
Cocktails before dinner at Cotagna.
My coworker is snuggly.
These trees are in their 40s.
Indian food with my friend Emma!
Pretties.
This week we went to see Ina Garten at the Marin Civic Center. I went with my bro + sis and Emma.
Watching Ina talk was incredible. My brother and I thought Ina reminded us of our Mom. It was such a trip!
It was also so bittersweet. I’m sure she would have got tickets the second they went on sale and would have loved to know all of the fun stories & tips Ina shared with us. She would be happy my brother is close by and we can do things like this together.
I know that for sure.
Both my boys were sick this week. We spent a lot of time inside. Lots of caretaking while they recovered from the flu.
It makes you appreciate being healthy when you’re not.
This tree caught my eye.
02.04.19 was a good lunch day.
Lush.
Tea + meeting at my friend Kendra’s house.
Her deck reminded me of our tree house tree. Isn’t it beautiful?
She has such wonderful taste.
Makes me want to add another disco ball to my house.
This corner pleased me greatly.
Stopped for breakfast.
Sending out your food journals! Found this beautiful vine in the process.
A bee working hard. One ended up in my car while I was driving.
This light.
This is Flash. She lives at my local camera store.
Tomato soup for the soul.
Working some of my Mom’s silver in the rotation.
Setting the vibe on a Friday night.
There was a big storm and we got cozy.
I made dinner and then Casey coughed so hard he cracked a rib. 🙁
He never got to eat dinner.
Light on a foggy morning.
Sometimes I can’t believe that both Cooper and I will have grown up in the same house.
It’s kind of a trip.
An abandoned list.
In the car eating a sandwich during baseball practice.
Quesadilla party.
Seeing clouds in puddles is my favorite.
I got to play with a puppy for a few minutes. This is Lil’G.
Sun’s out/cats out.
Found this while sitting at a stop light. You’re killing me smalls!
Sending thanks. Thanks for your orders. xo
