Here’s what this past week looked like- My Everyday Life Week 27
Enjoying the fruits of my labor!
Sunflowers are associated with August and being a Leo and I didn’t like them much when I was younger. I was annoyed that my birth month flower was a sunflower. Now? I LOVE THEM and want to grow even more next year.
Stand by REM comes to mind.
We had friends & their kids over for the 4th. I was too busy talking to take pics! We did have a good snack section though.
We had corn and my friend Sean grilled carne asada and hot links.
I love him so much. He’s the best snuggler.
Beans coming for a visit.
I saw something online that rated the best fried chicken and satisfied a craving.
Painting with gouache.
I’ve been painting in the book I made in my bookbinding class in college.
Drippy goodness.
I’ve been enjoying dance workouts lately. My fitbit cheers me on.
He wanted to make beignets for breakfast. We used my Mom’s electric frying pan!
It was a real trip. A core memory was activated when I plugged it in in the same spot she used it when I was a kid.
A fine way to start a day.
This has to be good luck. Lol.
Tucked in kitty.
They are never this close. Rosie hates Huggy but sometimes she doesn’t.
To the left of me at my desk right now.
Front yard is looking WILD.
Flipped open to this page in my notebook.
Found this post-it in the same book.
I’m going through a chicken fajita phase when we get Mexican takeout.
My echinacea is finally blooming! These were from my Father-In-Law. He sent me some last year and they grew back!
It took a long time but things are finally filling in!
Since I’m not rushing to take Cooper to school early in the morning, I’ve been having my coffee outside.
Boop!
Cooper likes making pillsbury cinnamon rolls. HE ATE THE ENTIRE package this morning.
Life with a teenage boy.
I hooked our hammock back up. I forgot how relaxing it is. It resets my nervous system.
Day trip to Petaluma.
Be kind. Be inspired.
I found the cutest place called Morti’s. It’s a used bookstore/cat adoption place!
I wanted to bring this little girl named Magpie home.
Boop!
Opened up a book and found this.
🙂
Petaluma is MAGNIFICENT.
Found this while cleaning out a drawer.
