Recipes for When You’re Sick!
Are YOU or someone you know currently under the weather?
(awwww I’m sorry I hope you feeling better!)
Under the weather? What does that even mean?
“Under the weather is an idiom that means “feeling sick or unwell.” It’s often used to explain that someone is ill without having to go into details. “
Saying I’m not feeling 100% also works.
First, here’s a friendly reminder:
I tell my son that the second he walks into the house.
Another thing my Mom would have said.
Are you getting enough fluids?
Besides Emergen-C+ bubbly water (great combination btw), I go right for soups & other healing beverages.
Let’s talk
Chicken Soup
Get yourself a rotisserie chicken and some vegetables. CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL.
I have some in my fridge and freezer right now at the ready.
Stracciatella Soup
This is what my grandma used to make us when we weren’t feeling well. There are like 4 ingredients max. Amaze!
Ramen is also a very good choice. I just found this from 9 years ago) Cooper was 7.
Here’s some ramen! You can doctor it up:

This one has mushrooms and kimchi.
Smoked Salmon Ramen
Also a good option. Add hot sauce!

A cup of HEALTH. A good way to get ginger in your body.

I made this all year long. Maybe that’s why I don’t get sick much.
Ginger Brew
This will knock the sickies out of you.
Kale Apple Juice
Bust out your juicer, let’s PROCESS VEGGIES and drink them.
Turmeric Hot Toddy
This hot toddy (pictured here with tequila) will help you sleep well. It’s super soothing on the throat too.

Lime Sorbet
If you need something to soothe the throat, this sorbet will do the trick. Add a scoop of bubbly water and now you’re talking.
Citrus Smoothie Bowls
Last but not least. Smoothie bowls! They’re a great way to get citrus in your body.
Those are some of my favorite Recipes for When You’re Sick! I hope you or your loved one feels better.
