Intentions for the Week – Week 46 of 2020

Happy Monday, Friday!

This weekend Casey and Cooper were out of town and I got to introvert! I also went for a walk with a friend, hit up the farmer’s market with another friend, and checked out the French Antique sale here in town. It almost felt like a normal weekend with friends, but with masks and safety precautions of course. What I really miss is going out to breakfast at a diner on the weekend with my family. Sigh!  This week I am starting to get all my ducks in a row to sell my Currently Workbook for 2021. I’ll be selling it from my Etsy shop this year. I’ll let you know when they’re in stock!  Time to figure out my Intentions for the Week!

My Everyday Life Week 45

Here’s what this past week looked like- My Everyday Life Week 45

We do this together!! 

Spent the afternoon with my oldest brother in Berkeley.

We went to the Butcher’s Son for brunch.

Everything is vegan and it was delicious. Here’s my breakfast sandwich.

I wish I got my brother’s doughnut pancake! It was amazing!

I love lists

I LOVE LISTS

  1. I have been this person a few times before. 
  2. Cat bed logic.
  3. The best cheese to eat if you are lactose intolerant.
  4. This will make you feel paranoid.
  5. Do you give your kids money for good grades?
  6. Weather Photographer of the year. 
  7. I love looking at old restaurant photos. 
  8. We are currently watching The Queen’s Gambit.
  9. Butter sales are booming right now.

  11. I didn’t know that Trader Joe’s has that many ravioli.

Currently October 2020

Currently October 2020

Well, here we are in November already.  The next week here in the U.S. is going to be a bit chaotic. I spent a lot of yesterday off of my phone and tried to write this post. 

Focusing on the positives during this time is what has kept me going and will continue to keep me going.  

In October, Cooper went back to school in person.  It was very nerve-wracking at first but everything seems to be running well so far.  As much as I enjoyed our quality time together at home,  I didn’t realize how impossible it felt to get anything done. I had a hard time settling into my work while managing his schoolwork, breaks, lunch,  and activities. With him back at school, I finally felt like I got some of my kitchen mojo back (YAY!). Making three meals a day for three people who have different tastes has been pretty exhausting. I realized that I  was spending way over an hour+ each day cleaning up the kitchen and I had no energy to add more work for myself.  Having the space really helps.

Another big thing is that Cooper and Casey traveled to Oregon (safely by car) this month to compete in a baseball tournament (THEY WON!!!). It gave me the opportunity to be at home by myself for three days and I was able to RECHARGE MY INTROVERT BATTERY and clean/organize the house.   I spent a lot of time purging stuff from the house and put Cooper’s closet back into shape.  As much as this staying at home situation sucks, I love my home more than ever because I have worked hard at making it comfortable and run more efficiently during this time.

Intentions for the Week – Week 45 of 2020

Happy Monday, friends! 

We had a pretty mellow weekend. Order some fish delivery and spent our Halloween at home, ate candy, and watched movies.  I went out to Brunch with my brother and did some house cleaning and watched a little Schitt’s Creek with the family. It’s really starting to feel like fall and I am loving it. I’m gonna cut this short so I can get onto enjoying every last second of this Sunday. Here are my Intentions for the Week!

My Everyday Life: Week 44

Here’s what this past week looked like- My Everyday Life Week 44

Halloween looked a bit different this year! We stayed home and ate candy!

We ordered a bunch of sushi-grade fish from Fishmonger Don and had a feast.

Cooper ate a lot and that made me soooo happy! YAY.  We also watched Hubie Halloween. It was very mellow!
