If You’re Bored List!

We are all facing quite a few challenges in the next few weeks (months?!) being stuck at home because of this dang coronavirus.  Are you being safe? I hope so! To relieve anxiety over $$$ and school, I’m trying to do something productive with my feelings because action is the antidote to despair!    My list-making brain has kicked into high gear!  When in doubt, MAKE A LIST!  If you live with someone who gets easily bored,  it’s important to make an “If You’re Bored List.”  Mostly because it will remind you of all of the things you like to do and could do when you find yourself feeling bored.  One of my goals in the next few weeks is to try to fill our time with ACTIVITIES that do not involve loafing on the couch, watching TV, or playing video games.

This is the list I made for Cooper to refer to.

I’ve been adding to it when I think of something else he can do.

Intentions for the Week

Looking to get your head in the game? Tracy from Shutterbean makes a weekly TO DO LIST called her Intentions for the Week. Here's what this week looks like:

It’s MONDAY!

We are on day 5 of social distancing right now. So far things are going OK, although I am slightly worried we won’t have enough food, but I always worry about that. I get that from my grandmother.  I’m mostly worried about not having fresh produce.

Cooper has a bunch of school work to do and he’ll be video conferencing with his class for the next few weeks. WHAT A TRIP!  We are still trying to convince my Dad that he needs to stay at home but he’s being stubborn and thinks everyone is overreacting so WISH US LUCK.

I spent the weekend doing some cleaning and a lot of gardening. We watched a few movies as a family too. As an introvert, life in isolation isn’t so bad 🙂

Simple Pantry Staple Meals for When You’re Stuck at Home

My prepper brain has been activated with this social distancing situation! What I know is that we will all be at home for a few weeks (?!) and we’ll have to make sure we stay healthy while doing so. This also means not wasting food and rationing what we have just in case we can’t get more things for a bit.   I went through my website to create a game plan and figure out some Simple Pantry Staple Meals for When You’re Stuck at Home for us to refer to in the next few weeks. All my years of meal prepping has PREPARED ME FOR THIS.
