Intentions for the Week:

Looking to get your head in the game? Tracy from Shutterbean makes a weekly TO DO LIST called her Intentions for the Week. Here's what this week looks like:

Intentions for the Week- Week 3 of 2020. Here’s what week 3 looked like last year.

Happy Monday, friends!

This weekend we had family over. I made tacos. We played with sparklers.

Everyone was drinking but me.

It was cool though, I drank a lot of lemon ginger elixirs and spent pockets of time getting rid of things and organizing around the house.  Our Christmas tree is down and I have to move the ornament boxes out.  Lots of in-between projects in the works.

Last week I sent out a lot of packages and it’s amazing how easily my office gets thrashed in the process.  I have a few piles on the floor of my office I’d like to get rid of this week and I am typing this here so I have you as my witness. I WILL DO IT, DANG IT.

Pretty happy to report that I did meal prep this week!  I also accomplished my goal to work out three days last week and tracked what I ate all week in my food journal.  HOORAY.

I like the momentum I am building. It’s all about creating healthy habits, huh?

My Everyday Life: Week 2

Here’s what this past year looked like- My Everyday Life Week 2

Started the week with meal prep!

I am 12 days into eating no dairy/gluten/ drinking alcohol.

I’ve been working in my food journal all week and it’s helping!

I am not feeling deprived.

Restriction breeds creativity!

I’m hooked on Beyond Sausage Brats.  I’ve been having one for breakfast every day this week.

Also, I LOVE using blackwing pencil (thanks, Tammi!) in my food journal.

How to Start the New Year Off Right

There’s usually a rush to have resolutions set and solid goals written down on the FIRST of the month. For me it’s impossible to have it all mapped out on January 1st. The holiday season takes a lot out of me and all of December is dedicated to creating holiday magic here and at home.  I need a little pause to reflect and process the year that has past before jumping right into a new one.   But here we are. It’s January 8th and it’s time for me to plot out the year.  This is How to Start the New Off Right, or at least what I like to do to set myself up for success for the year!

As you already know, I’m a paper gal. My brain doesn’t process things well unless I write things down.  My whole life is organized in a series of notebooks and journals.  It’s how I function, even when I live a lot of my life online.

Here’s my productivity arsenal:

My Essentials:

Let’s me show you inside some of these important productivity tools I use as a paper loving gal.
