Intentions for the Week

Looking to get your head in the game? Tracy from Shutterbean makes a weekly TO DO LIST called her Intentions for the Week. Here's what this week looks like:

Happy Monday, Friends!

We are on week 49 of 2019. Here’s what that week looked like for me last year.

This weekend it rained! We put up my Mom’s Christmas tree for my Dad. We went out to dinner, I packaged up orders for the Handwriting Club all Sunday and tried to rest and eat healthy after a big week of indulging. It’s supposed to rain here all week and I love how cozy it makes our house!  We have the fireplace going in the mornings when we’re drinking our coffee and it’s DIVINE. One of my Intentions for the Week is to get as many pep talk packs out this week as I can! They make a great gift for yourself or a loved one who needs a pep talk!

Find them in my Etsy shop!

Here’s what they look like all packaged up!

Sausage Bread

Sausage Bread was always something brought out for special occasions on my father’s (very Italian) side of the family.  While the recipe floats around throughout the year with my East Coast family, we only experienced my Grandma’s sausage bread during Easter. What I can tell you is that I would have gladly accepted her Sausage Bread over my candy filled Easter basket. That’s how good it is.

Now that I have the recipe (THANKS TO MY FAIRY GODMOTHER, AUNT JEAN!!!) I can have it whenever I want! What a gift it is to receive a cherished recipe from a generous family member!

If I wasn’t making artichoke squares for my brother this Thanksgiving, I’d definitely make this Sausage Bread.  It’s the ultimate comfort food. Pizza dough rolled around sausage and cheese. What’s not to love?  It tastes like my childhood.

Casey likes to think of it as pizza bread but without the sauce.  He’s not wrong!

My Everyday Life Week 47

Here’s what this past week looked like My Everyday Life Week 47

So much orange this week. It’s my Mom’s color and today is the 2nd anniversary of her death.

Here’s what that week looked like. I am glad I powered threw and shared that week.

Our house is in the in-between world of renovations. This tree is popping.

I haven’t been able to garden and it’s messing with me.

A trip into the city. The hand caught my eye and then that orange glow at the top of the building made me happy.  It’s a reflection of the sunset.

Currently Workbook 2020!

Currently Workbook 2020

As you know, for the past year, I’ve been working in my self-reflection workbook- Currently 2019

It’s been an incredible way for me to:

  • practice my handwriting
  • take time to reflect
  • write down all the good things that happen
  • leave a trail of magic behind for my son, Cooper

Quite a few of you have joined in on this adventure (THANK YOU!!!).  If you want to order one for 2020, I’m selling them through Amazon this year (here’s the link!) to help alleviate the shipping challenge on my end. If you are international, here’s an option to get yours too.

Let me show you inside!
