It’s true. My new Electrolux fridge makes the cutest ice cubes. Out of all the cool features on my fridge, is it weird that I kinda love my ice cubes the most? Wait. We’ve already established I’m weird. Let’s continue.
So why is good to have cute ice cubes?
1. They make my drinks look better. They don’t overshadow the fruits I add to a beverage!
2. When you drink out of weird jars like me, sometimes the openings aren’t big enough to accommodate ice dispensers. In my old fridge, I would have to dispense the ice cubes into my hand and then place them in the cup I was using. Now I can dispense ice cubes into the silly little cups I drink out of. It saves me time and my hands aren’t cold from ice cube wrangling.
Oh BTW, this what my old ice cubes looked like. Nothing special…just your average ice cube that would hit the rim of a glass and most likely fall on the floor when dispensed. Sometimes they were stuck together when they came out and it would jam up the dispenser. Totally not fun.
3. When you have a smaller ice cube, it’s easier to drink your drink! Have you noticed how annoying it is having a big piece of ice smacking your mouth when you take a sip of a drink? I hate that feeling. Now when I’m drinking a drink, there’s just a light brushing from a small ice cube. It’s weird how a little thing can make a big difference.
Have I mentioned that they make my drinks look better??!!! They do!!!!!
My neighbor wants me to tell you that she enjoys putting her tongue in the hole of the ice cubes. That could be the gin talking… or maybe it’s not.
